WaterNet, represented by Prof. Jean-Marie Kileshye Onema and Dr Jane Olwoch, the Executive Director of The Southern African Science Service Centre for Change and Adaptive Land Management (SASSCAL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Luanda, Angola on 6 June 2023. The MoU is aimed at strengthening closer ties between the two organisations in education, short professional training, research and outreach. The signing ceremony of the MoU was witnessed, among others, by Dr Tidiane Ouattara from the African Union Commission (AUC), the coordinator of the Global Monitoring for Environment and Security (GMES) Africa.
